Gary has been a life-long entrepreneur and has been involved in a variety of business ventures. The main priority during Gary’s business career has been helping clients to get the most value from their budgets without sacrificing performance. With over 15 years sales experience in a variety of markets including Education, Healthcare, Retail and Small to Medium Sized Business, Gary has been able to build valuable and long-term relationships with his clients based on trust and excellent customer service.
Gary is currently President of Macker Tek which he started in 2011 with the primary goal of helping schools give students more access to modern technology. Macker Tek has been highly successful by adding 150+ clients and reaching annual sales close to $2 million dollars. Gary has the ability to consistently identify future trends and share valuable insights with clients enabling them to make educated decisions. Gary was fortunate enough to be raised in a small tight-knit farm community where many values were ingrained in him that has continued throughout his career. High moral values are of utmost importance to Gary including being honest, trustworthy, compassionate and ruled by integrity.
Being a proud graduate from Laurentian University in 1997 with a Bachelors of Commerce in Sports Administration, Gary had a dream to become the General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. However, he is happy that his career took him into IT as everyday it includes new challenges, learning opportunities and obstacles to overcome. Gary is eager to forge new relationships with customers and vendors of cutting-edge solutions to make sure he continues to ride-the-wave of technology well into the future.
